Movement of organelles in a cytoplasmic strand of an onion epidermis cell
Distinct cytoplasmic strands cross the central vacuole of onion bulb epidermis cells. This sequence shows how single organelles exhibit a vectorial movement through such a cytoplasmic strand. This fast movement is based on the interaction between myosin molecules and actin filaments.
